LabCorp Workers in LA & San Diego Vote UNION YES

LabCorp, Los Angeles, San Diego, vote

Andre-HernandezPrior to our union vote, LabCorp made promises that they would give me a raise to keep up with industry standards. But in my three years with the company, Corporate kept finding ways to deny this raise until all of us in Southern California came together through union organizing.

All of us coming together as one big force is giving us the ability to revolutionize the lab industry from the inside out, and to have what is fair for the important work we do as professionals.
Andre Hernandez, LabCorp Arcadia

Justine-PerrineWhen I worked for LabCorp in Ohio, this was the company everyone aspired to work for. But in California, our wages and benefits weren’t keeping up with the rest of the industry.

Our win means we now have a voice and it felt so amazing to win!! I am looking forward to being able to negotiate for better benefits, wages, and working conditions. The stronger we get across the country the better our negotiations will be for future employees.
Justine Perrine, LabCorp Pasadena

Michelle-PalaciosI am excited about the recent wins in San Diego, South County & Los Angeles County because it proves that our concerns are widespread, and together we are calling for more respect.

I am so proud to be with UFCW Local 135 and I only see a brighter future for me and my fellow coworkers. We need to stand up and have our voices heard because if not they will belittle us until we cannot take it anymore. The more and more LabCorp employees that get to join UFCW, the louder and stronger we will be!
Michelle Palacios, LabCorp San Diego
